Dear Ms X,
Each morning over the past six years, I get really happy when I see my students walk in the door and see my classroom take life again. Being a primary school teacher feels so natural to me. As I am very intrigued by different cultures and languages I have been thinking for the past few months to look for a new personal challenge at an international primary school. As it is a relatively young international school and I would like to be member of a pioneering and ambitious team, your school attracted my attention. I also like the fact it is Dutch subsided school with competitive fees so it's open to a very broad variety of students . Last , I value very much the experience of living in Amsterdam and Netherlands, the multicultural setting of your school and also the Dutch culture have much to offer.
Initially I am interested in positions in groups 3-8 as I see people of these ages spontaneous and eager to learn but at the same time able to communicate and discuss well. Teaching secondary school students might be a future job possibility to me in view of my university education.
I tolerate pressure easily and I am an open minded person with excellent social skills, that is why it is natural to me when planning and organizing. I developed my rational, analytical and coordinating skills at an outstanding technical university and working several years as an consulting engineer and group leader in the field of logistics and general management.
I think my skills and enthusiasm will add value to your organization and would appreciate being interviewed so to discuss more about the job description, my motivation and suitability.
Yours sincerely,
Candidate Y
