Song lyrics and stereotypes

Music is fullfil related to gender stereotypes. Lots of artists sing this kind of songs so as to make a critic to societies behavior in some aspects. I'm going to analyze Beyoncé's lyrics in "Cater 2 u". The hole song tries to represent the role of the women in the past, in which they stayed at home while men went to work. Women in those days weren't considered at work places and just did house work such as cleaning cooking or just taking care of children.

Even the name of the song tries to represents the role of women those days, the way it is written tries to show uneducated  women in those days, like if they didn't need to study because they just leaved to serve men, that explains the orthographic errors in the title. The entire song talks about women praising men and making sure they have everything they need. With the men working, women don’t need to know anything except how to take care of their men when they return home. We can appreciate this in every part of the lyrics where we can see she would do anything in order to make his men happy as if it was her only preoccupation in life.
